Metairie Club Open 24 Hours

French Riviera Fitness expands to new hourly format

In response to requests by members, French Riviera Fitness will keep the Metairie club open 24 hours Monday through Thursday. Members will now be able to come in any time of day or night for a complete workout Monday through Thursday. Regular hours remain in effect Friday through Sunday.

"Many of our members were telling us that they would like to see us go to a 24 hr format.

We did the research, checked with other 24 hr clubs and discovered that there was a real need for this service," said Nick Rivet, club manager.

"If this new hourly format proves to be a big hit, we will expand the hours and locations," stated Tracy Childress, city manager.

French Riviera Fitness has six clubs in New Orleans, and nineteen clubs in Alabama, Tennessee and Florida. The popular health club chain started in 1975 in Memphis and opened its first club in New Orleans in 1987. 2007 marks the 20th anniversary for the New Orleans club.
