Midfield Coed Club Opens

Riviera Fitness Center opens new Birmingham club

After running Ladies only clubs for 10 years in Birmingham, Riviera Fitness Center felt that it was time to branch out into the coed arena.

Riviera Fitness Center, Birmingham's number one ladies health club since 1997, has opened a new coed club in Midfield. Located across the street from Western Hills Mall, this new club caters to both men and women. Wall to wall cardio machines and equipment, a complete range of free weights, and a frontline cardio theatre, all wrapped into a friendly and relaxed environment make this Birmingham's number one club for men and women.

"We also have this areas largest selection of group fitness classes-we're able to match everyone's needs and schedule," commented Tracy Childress, City Manager.

Riviera Fitness Center has six clubs in New Orleans, and nineteen clubs in Alabama, Tennessee and Florida. The popular health club chain started in 1975 in Memphis and opened its first club in Birmingham in 1997. 2007 marks the 10-year anniversary of Riviera Fitness Center in Birmingham.
